One Gorgeous Boat

This is the seventh year for this team. Join us and spend your summer enjoying the paddling and camaraderie that comes with this team. We practice Sundays, giving us a more relaxed atmosphere than a weeknight practice and also to have practices that are 15 minutes longer than other teams.  This team was formed in 2014 when World Pride came to Toronto (we also had a float in the parade).  It is a team open to anyone of any ability, and no experience is required.

JOIN US in 2020!

The team had a great year in 2019.  After practicing once-a-week in May and June they competed at the 17th annual DDRA Canada Day Regatta on Toronto Island on Canada's 152nd birthday, They then extended their season to Woodstock for the very first time.  This year, the team will go even further and race as the big end of season Great White North Dragon Boat Challenge the weekend of September 12-13.

Meet new people, learn new skills, breathe in some fresh air, enjoy the waterfront, and get a little exercise. Don't miss our adventure this coming season with the thrill of racing and the camaraderie of our special group.

JOIN US in 2019!

The team had a great year in 2018.  Many members started the year with MTCS Oars to Discover (May and June and racing on Canada Day), and then joined Guns n Roses for the July through September program.   As many members were the same on both teams, we decided to make it a single full season team in 2019.  The MTCS team name will be dropped (as not many paddlers were from the Ministry of Tourism, Culture, and Sport (MTCS) any longer.  And besides, Guns n Roses was always meant to be the sister team to Motley Crew who practice the same night and time all season (plus Mondays too).

Meet new people, learn new skills, breathe in some fresh air, enjoy the waterfront, and get a little exercise. Don't miss our adventure this coming season with the thrill of racing and the camaraderie of our special group.
