FLYING DRAGONS
(formerly GUNS n ROSES)

We are a fun, positive, and recreational dragon boat team with a bit of a competitive vibe. Our focus is to be inclusive and welcome all paddlers regardless of age, fitness level or dragon boat experience. We come together to practice and race to achieve realistic and collective goals. We care about improving our own performance every time, no matter where or who we are up against. Practices take place once a week from May to September.  Together, we can build a sense of belonging, inclusion and achievement.

News (August 22):  The team is in their final weeks of practices before they race at the Stratford Regatta on Saturday, September 14th.   Coach Terence, and captains Shalini and Ayesha are getting the team ready to peak at this race event.  Soon enough, the season will be over and we'll be planning for 2025.  Registration for 2025 will open in mid-January right here on this page.

Our fabulous coach of 8 years, Natalie Wong, retired at the end of 2023 and was celebrated at the team's end-of-season party.  The team will miss her energy, knowledge and inspiration!  A new coach, Terence Yu has been identified for our 2024 season.  He is an amazing coach with years of experience and all-round nice person. We also thank Babar for being a trusted co-captain for the GnR team for years, until the end of 2023.  Babar was also thanked at the end-of-season party.  New co-captain Ayesha was announced there as well, and both Shalini and Ayesha worked with Tim to create the 2024 team program.

If you have questions contact Shalini and Ayesha at Flying-Dragons @ RustyDragons.ca.

Payment is preferred by Interac e-mail transfer to "This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it." or by cheque to "Rusty Dragons Adventures".  Please add a comment with the payment to say who it is for the e-mail transfer.
Contact Shalini at "This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it." for our mailing address. Payments are appreciated as early as possible.

**Note: The calculated fee is $504 due upon registration (by April 1, but appreciated if some can pay earlier). An option is two part payments: #1 $304 by April 1 and #2 $200 due by June 15.
