We are launching the second decade of this team with an expansion and partnership with the international Mixed Ability Sports organization. We are encouraging family members and friends to join the team. We are recruiting team members, who are welcome from anywhere or any organization in the GTA.

This year, we will not have two separate halves of the season (Spring and Summer) like last year, but instead have a single longer program with 50% more practices (12) but just one race day at the end (Welland on August 15 - same place as last year).
Practices are once a week for 12 weeks, on Saturdays, from May 16 to August 8 (every week except June 13), from 12:30 to 2:30 PM at Outer Harbour. The team will then race at the 4th annual Hope Floats Regatta on Saturday, Aug. 15th at the Welland International Flatwater Centre. We will arrange a subsidized coach bus to take those interested between Toronto and Welland.
There are two different registration fees for this team:
> For EACH person in a participating family group which includes a VIP, the cost is $115 each.
> For all others registering (without a direct VIP family member participating), the cost is $179 each.
See the Practice Site Page for more details on the practice location. The address of the practice site is at 480 Unwin Avenue, but note there is no parking at this address unless there is a VIP in the vehicle. There is free parking just to the east of the site, and a path to walk along to the practice site. It is easily found by WheelTrans (we greet participants at the gate). Details and maps will be emailed to all participants.
If you have any questions, or need assistance registering, please don't hesitate to contact Tim MacFarlane at 647-971-7332 or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
Use the "Register as a VIP Family Member" button once for EACH paddler who is participating whose family group includes a VIP. VIPs do not have to register here (We'll get their information via email, separately from this registration tool).
