As a 2SLGBTQIA+ community-based dragon boat team, we aim to provide a social and fitness-focused sporting outlet for the gay and lesbian community, as well as their friends, family and supporters.
Our team reflects the following core values:
- Committed - members are expected to adhere to regular attendance, baseline level of fitness, and the pursuit of technical excellence.
- Community-Facing - members strive to be positive ambassadors for, and representatives of 2SLGBTQIA+ paddlers towards the greater dragon boat / paddling community and public.
- Supportive - members are expected to be good teammates and engage in teamwork to foster a positive environment at all times.
- Goal-Oriented - members are expected to understand and adhere to the goals set (through consensus) by the team to further develop within the team, and improve team performance.

TeamSnap issue: The Rusty Dragons do not ask for gender for any of our teams (in our registration forms or anywhere). However, independent of us, the TeamSnap registration app we use requires a gender M/F answer when creating your TeamSnap profile (which no one in the club can see). Last year, we opened a problem ticket with the company, and while polite, they would not plan a change. Digging into this showed that it is an American company, and it is, sadly, likely illegal for them to make a change. We sincerely apologize to all team members.

Payment Plan option: Two part payments: $308 by March 31, and $210 by June 30.
